NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION.
A riddle: What's the difference
between the NBA and the People's
Republic of China? Answer: 6,000
miles. When Beijing vehemently
objected to a bit of off-the-court politicism, the league was
deservedly mocked for kowtowing to
the Commie regime like subservient
simps. It isn't just China. More and
more, over and over, these
ball-bouncing mavens are opening
their mouths and inserting their
oversized sneakers. The NBA doesn't
enforce patriotism among its
minions, and perhaps it shouldn't.
But it should make a point of
showing its support for the American
way. For shame that it doesn't, and
that it won't.
