THE WALT
DISNEY COMPANY. If your goal
is to influence a population over
time, whatever your reason, there is
nothing more strategic than
acquiring an avenue to that
population's children across their
early years. Next thing you know you
could be doing what Disney did going
back to Snow White and Steamboat
Willie. This mega American
institution pumps out cartoons,
movies, theme parks, cruise ships.
It's widely held that Walt's
intentions and motivations were
benevolent. It's less known whether
that remains true today. Holdings
PIXAR, ABC, ESPN, and HULU all tilt
so far left they no longer stand
erect. If Walt is watching, he isn't
very happy. |
